Our Testimony

In a town called Damascus, a man passed by with his family and reputation, having no need to hide, but a fire within him, a longing to be free, led him to make a choice others could not see.

He left behind comfort and security to follow Jesus’ teachings and kindle a different flame. With faith as his compass, he embarked on a new quest to taste the sweetness of life, knowing that on this road he’d be blessed.

In Damascus, where tradition held sway, he sought a simple existence, letting joy rule the day. No longer bound by possessions, he discovered true worth in the company of loved ones, gathered around a table.

Gone were the days of opulence, replaced by humble fare, where pizza and ice cream became a feast for all to share, and in these simple pleasures, he found love’s gentle touch in the family and friends he cherished so much. Like the parable of the prodigal son, he found his way back to the warmth of connection, where his riches multiplied not in silver or gold, but in the bonds he forged and the stories that were told.

In small-town Damascus, hearts were made whole; through faith, love, and laughter, they nurtured each soul. By leaving behind what the world held dear, they found a treasure more precious, one that drew them near.

Let us remember this tale of a journey’s embrace, of a man and his family who found solace and grace. May we, too, seek the richness of life’s simple joys—in Jesus, pizza, and ice cream, not the world’s empty ploys.
